Have you ever heard of orange wine ?
Even if it is becoming trendy again, this ancestral method of winemaking is from Georgia and dates back to antiquity.
Its specificity ?
The white grapes are vinified and fermented in whole bunches as for red wines : the grape juice is left in contact with the skins, the seeds and stems throughout the maceration, which offers the wine its particular color.
Our orange wine Les Jamelles is composed of no less than five grape varieties : Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Muscat, Gewurztraminer and Chenin Blanc, which allow us to obtain an atypical, fresh and aromatic wine profile.
A unique tasting experience with some delicacy, freshness, harmony, and a touch of smooth tannins which is typical of the winemaking style.
So, would you like a glass of orange wine ?
