The whole Les Jamelles team is proud to see that one of the newcomers to the range, the Orange wine, has received the highest distinction at the Anivin 2022 competition: the gold medal.
(NB Anivin is the national wine board of the French category Vin de France).
You may wonder why our Orange wine is classified as a Vin de France? Quite simply because the IGP Pays d’Oc label does not currently recognise the category of Orange wine. However, our grapes do come from the south of France, and more particularly from vines planted in the foothills of the Montagne Noire.
If you wish to discover an atypical wine, made from the maceration of white grapes and elaborated from not less than 5 grape varieties (Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Muscat, Gewurztraminer and Muscat), don’t hesitate any longer 🙂 !
